Added value with circular facade renovation 

On Wednesday, May 15, the talk show 'Added value with circular facade renovation - Unprecedented opportunities in metal facades' will take place at the Renovation & Transformation trade fair in the Brabanthallen in 's-Hertogenbosch.

Henk Zoontjens, director of the VMRG, as talk show host, will discuss how circularity can play the leading role in facade renovation. In this regard, what is the added value of metal windows, doors and curtain walls? How circular are they really? And do they also add value to a building? 

Circular metal

Short presentations on circular metal in (facade) renovation will be interspersed with questions, conversations and discussion with the guests. With Ron Jacobs (Jansen AG) the conversation will be about steel and circularity. Thijs de Goede, (Alba Concepts) will take us through circular indicators and value. Raimond Stassen (Wicona Netherlands by Hydro) knows all about aluminum and circularity and to Han Blom (BAM Nederland BV) the question of how to score with circular metal. 

Knowledge partner

The VMRG is knowledge partner of the trade fair Renovation & Transformation. Since both this trade fair and the VMRG aim to share knowledge and inspiration, the VMRG has joined this trade fair as a knowledge partner. Within the sectors renovation and transformation in construction there is a lot of attention for the facade and facade elements. This is of course partly prompted by the enormous construction and renovation task. In addition, the demand for quality and circularity, also in the field of facades, is increasing hand over fist. 

Facade renovation

When renovating and/or transforming buildings, façade renovation is an essential part of achieving a building that meets today's sustainability standards, or just provides a new look. At the request of the visiting professionals, the Renovation & Transformation trade fair has been making this a recurring theme in both the content of the program and the exhibition floor for years. In 2023, over 1 in 10 professionals said they were primarily interested in facades and nearly 8% said they were primarily focused on frames, windows and doors.
