Kömmerling Netherlands is proud to announce that Remco van Overdijk will assume the role of Country Manager as of October 1, 2024. He will take over from Henk Sprick, who will be working towards his retirement after an impressive 40-year career in which he played an important role in building and strengthening the brand. Henk will remain involved with the company through March to transfer his knowledge and induct new employees.
Remco van Overdijk has been a familiar face within the Profine Group, the globally active parent company of Kömmerling NL, for 23 years and has extensive technical knowledge of the product as well as the market and customers. His appointment as Country Manager of Kömmerling Netherlands is therefore a logical step. "I look forward to working with our team and partners to continue building a sustainable future for Kömmerling plastic window frames in the Netherlands," said Remco. "Among other things, we will focus on strengthening our position in the market by focusing on AI-driven innovations, sustainability and more extensive support for architects."
In the past two years, the Profine Group has taken a big step by renewing the Kömmerling brand. The Netherlands has also joined this renewal, resulting in an even stronger brand that is now widely recognized in Europe and beyond. Intensified cooperation with other countries within the group will continue, with a focus on knowledge sharing and joint growth. At the same time, Frederik Declercq, Managing Director of profine Belux and profine Italia, is taking on the role of Sales Area Manager for the BENELUX region. In this new role, he will work together with Remco van Overdijk to further shape the strategic direction for the Netherlands. This collaboration underlines the growing cooperation within the profine Group and the ambition to position the Kömmerling brand even more strongly in Europe and beyond.
