Relaunching RESISTIT® ESK for reliable water and air sealing

After years of absence, Carlisle CM Europe (CCM) is again producing RESISTIT® ESK. A flexible sealing product for the gutter and building envelope with a reinforced EPDM top layer and a high polymer SBS underlayer.

When gutter constructions (new construction and renovation) have high demands for waterproofing and longevity, RESISTIT® ESK has always been the favorite among roofers and installers. With its SBS underlayer, RESISTIT® ESK offers a multitude of sealing possibilities. Due to its specific processing characteristics, it fits well with, for example, connecting gutter constructions and insulated (valley) gutters. These are best sealed with RESISTIT® ESK (thanks in part to its low thickness of 1.6 mm, it is a flexible material). You do not need a burner, as the seams are sealed with hot air. The seam quality at connections and penetrations can easily be checked visually for watertightness using the bitumen bead.

With this reintroduction, we are responding to the request and demand from the market. Gutter structures are vulnerable parts to a building, where economizing on quality would be the wrong sustainable choice.
