SIEGENIA's latest innovation, the BS 3700 automatic multi-point lock, promises door manufacturers and end users not only a secure door, but also a maintenance-free solution. The integrated self-adjustment ensures that doors no longer require adjustment throughout their life cycle, saving manufacturers and end users time and costs.
The BS 3700 multi-point lock is distinguished by its clever self-adjusting mechanism. During installation, doors can suffer from tolerance differences or thermal influences, for example, which lead to time-consuming adjustments in traditional systems. Thanks to the automatic locking elements and swivel hooks of the BS 3700, these problems are eliminated. The principle of this automatic multi-point lock is as simple as it is effective: as soon as the bolts of the latch encounter resistance, they are blocked by a back-pressure safety device. This holds the door leaf in position and guarantees reliable locking.
This means that manufacturers no longer waste time adjusting doors after installation, even in difficult installation situations. For the end user, the system provides a safe, smoothly operating door that is not sensitive to environmental disturbances.
Maximum added value: the intelligent self-adjustment of the multi-point lock eliminates adjustment during the life cycle of the door.
In addition to ease of use, the BS 3700 also offers a high level of security. Indeed, the automatic 20 mm locking of swivel hook and deadbolt -already from a mandrel size of 35 mm- ensures a high level of security. Thanks to the three locking points and a child security option activated via the profile cylinder blocking the door handle, this solution is both practical and reassuring for families. Opening the door is smooth and effortless, as the frictionless material combinations of the BS 3700 multi-point automatic locking system are designed for maximum operating comfort.
Optionally, the door can be equipped with an A-opener. This is an electromechanical solution that opens the door automatically, providing greater comfort.
The BS 3700 was developed with flexibility in mind. All possible upgrades are freely combinable, allowing manufacturers to adapt the multi-point lock to the specific needs of the end user. Options such as a gap holder, an extended faceplate for doors up to 3 meters high, the optional A-opener and the day release TA offer additional freedom in design and use. Moreover, the day release can easily be added afterwards, making the system even more attractive for renovation projects.
The BS 3700 focuses on the comfort of the end user and efficiency for the processors. The thoughtful manufacturing and assembly features of the multi-point lock allow for quick and easy modifications. For example, the DIN direction can be easily adjusted via the deadbolt master lock without having to replace the entire system. Replacement of already fitted key-operated and automatic multi-point locks (AS2xxx, BS2xxx or AS3xxx) is also quick and easy with this new solution.
With the new BS 3700, SIEGENIA offers a powerful, maintenance-free and flexible solution for doors made of various materials. With integrated self-adjustment that supports the entire life cycle of the door, manufacturers and end users can save time and costs without compromising safety or ease of operation.
