Fast, efficient, robust - and now also durable! ADLER, the leading Austrian manufacturer of paints and lacquers, presents for the first time a 4in1 water-based pigment varnish for MDF boards. Bluefin Pigmores 4in1 is insulation, putty, color and opaque lacquer in one. This makes it the right solution for furniture manufacturers who want it all: efficient to use, a rich color palette, environmentally friendly and a lasting beautiful result.
"Our solvent-based product MDF-4in1 has been a favorite of our customers for years. However, as pioneers in water-based paints and lacquers, we at ADLER were particularly keen to develop an equally good all-round water-based lacquer," says Jeffrey Gerritse, technical account manager at ADLER Benelux. Bluefin Pigmores 4in1 can be applied directly to high-quality MDF boards using the lacquer-on lacquer method. Due to optimal properties with regard to sanding and filling, efficient processes are guaranteed. "With two to three layers, robust, color-intensive surfaces can be realized that achieve good results in the ring test," explains Gerritse.
Bluefin Pigmores 4in1 from ADLER is the all-rounder par excellence - and not only in terms of its use. The water-based paint can be used in a wide range of industries: "Bluefin Pigmores 4in1 can be used throughout the furniture industry and interior construction, including in kitchens and bathrooms," promises Gerritse. "Thanks to its excellent chemical and mechanical composition, topcoating is no longer necessary." The lacquer is available in a very wide range of colors. Those who want can additionally add the textured paste ADLER Aquafix S to apply the currently popular coarse texture - because when it comes to surface appearance, too, the new Bluefin Pigmores 4in1 is a real all-rounder.
