In 2023, it's party time at Solarlux. The German manufacturer of glass folding walls, terrace roofs, balcony glazing and conservatories will celebrate its 40th anniversary. The latest glass folding wall Megaline, which Solarlux launched on the market at the beginning of this year, was recently awarded the title "Best of Best" in the "Product" category at the Iconic Awards 2022 design competition.

A new shoot in the product tribe is the award-winning glass folding wall Megaline, an elegant, modern and high-quality product with which the company primarily meets the needs of architects who focus on more incident daylight in their designs. "In addition to its high design quality, this invention offers wider architectural latitude," Hofstra continued. "Whereas products of this type were previously manufactured with a maximum height of 3 meters, with the Megaline you can realize movable window sections with a maximum element height of no less than 4.50 meters high and 1.50 meters wide. This creates the possibility of creating spectacular architectural designs that blend seamlessly into the surroundings." In addition, the optimally thermally insulated aluminum profile system features a multifunctional insulating "bionicTURTLE®" made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, integrated running and guide rails and controlled drainage.
