Over the years, Houthandel van Dam has become one of the most progressive importers of tropical hardwood in the Netherlands. Van Dam is a very reliable supplier striving for optimal cooperation and always looking for the best quality.

We are located in Bunnik. As a stockholding importer we have a broad view on the 'world of wood'.Through our own import channels we have daily contact with our suppliers in the areas of origin. We import the wide range of products from all continents, such as Africa, Southeast Asia, North and South America.All materials are stored in our own yard, so that we can guarantee a high degree of flexibility and quality. We also have a modern woodworking department, where many types of profiling can be made on request.

Certification

Van Dam supplies products with FSC® or PEFC certification whenever possible. The number of products with such certification is growing rapidly and now accounts for a large proportion of our sales. Since March 3, 2013 the new European regulations regarding the import of wood (EUTR: European Union Timber Regulation) are in force. Of course we ensure that the imported goods meet the requirements of the European Union. Through our Due Diligence system we check our suppliers against these European regulations.

Houthandel van Dam Bunnik, has extensive experience as a supplier to the professional timber industry. Not for nothing do we often participate at an early stage as a 'partner in hardwood' to advise and assist our customers and subsequently provide them with that type of wood which meets the wishes of their client. Either raw or with added value in our machine shop in Bunnik.
