CAD-PLAN GmbH

CAD-PLAN Software solutions for curtain wall design and facade engineering.

Planning advanced facades does not actually require much:
A competent designer with sufficient experience and feeling for technically sophisticated solutions - and a powerful CAD application precisely tailored to the designer's requirements. It supports him in timely and error-free professional design and takes a lot of work off his hands.
This is where we come in with ATHENA (based on AutoCAD), APOLLON (based on Inventor) and the PDM system CRONOS. This is the complete software solution for your designs in metal construction and facade engineering.

CAD-PLAN was founded more than 33 years ago with the aim of providing designers and planners in metal construction and facade technology with a specially tailored CAD system. Three software products have since been developed for this sector. The main product, ATHENA, is based on the world's most successful CAD program, AutoCAD. Following this, another design software called APOLLON has been developed. APOLLON is a fully parametric 3D CAD/modeling software and is based on Autodesk Inventor. The third product developed is the PDM system CRONOS, which is used for enterprise-wide management of project data and design drawings created with ATHENA, APOLLON, AutoCAD or Inventor.

ATHENA:

ATHENA is a complete CAD software package, precisely tailored to the requirements of our users, offering practically everything to ease the daily tasks of the facade structural engineer.

ATHENA was developed for planning agencies and manufacturers of façade systems.

ATHENA is independent of profile systems and can always be individually customized. Ideal for international design is that all ATHENA parts can be automatically provided with texts, which can be translated into one of the 10 available languages at the touch of a button.

  • ATHENA is available in two editions:
  • ATHENA for AutoCAD as an add-on for AutoCAD, as you know it.
  • ATHENA Complete as a stand-alone solution with a fully integrated AutoCAD.

APOLLON:

APOLLON is a fully parametric 3D CAD/modeling software for facade and curtain wall design.

Style-line, Elements or Free-form facades, they all work. It covers the steps from building the model to production plans, parts lists and CNC output for the machine. As a "standalone" product, APOLLON is the ideal complement to ATHENA and includes Autodesk Inventor®.

ATHENA is available in two editions:

  • APOLLON as a stand-alone solution with a fully integrated INVENTOR.
  • APOLLON for INVENTOR as an add-on to your existing Inventor version.

CRONOS:

CRONOS is a product data management system (PDM) and serves to process company data. Particularly article-oriented project data and design drawings prepared with ATHENA, APOLLON, AutoCAD or Inventor can be easily handled. Layouts and drawings of individual parts belonging to a construction are displayed in a clear structure, just like all other files of a particular project, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and many more. Even project-related e-mail traffic can be handled via CRONOS.

Cronos is available in several modules:

  • Cronos Basic: Document management for general workstations without CAD: Handling of business-relevant data such as e-mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, etc. including Quickview etc.
  • Cronos CAD: Document management like Cronos Basis, plus processing CAD data from ATHENA, APOLLON, AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Cronos View: display of data, ideal in production.
  • Cronos BOM: Creation of bills of materials within CAD systems.

Let our specialists show you what solutions will make your work easier in the future, increase your productivity and give you more security.
