BICCS

Since its foundation in 1983, BICCS BV as a paint producer has acquired an excellent reputation as a supplier of industrial color mixing systems and coatings. Thanks to an innovative mentality and an open ear for new demands and wishes from our customers, an industrial color mixing system was developed at the end of the 1980s. The starting point was to develop one universal system with which different qualities of industrial coatings could be produced in any color and quantity.

In 1993, BICCS BV commissioned a completely newly built factory in Almere. During construction, the specific requirements and wishes of a modern production company were expressly taken into account. With the move to Almere, the production capacity was simultaneously greatly expanded in order to respond adequately to the increasing demand from our national and international customers for sustainable, high-quality paint products.

Eye for the environment

Sustainability is an important issue. BICCS has been striving for many years to make a positive contribution to environmental issues. This is expressed in our research, our production process as well as in our product range.

Our research is focused on developing sustainable products. These developments can include coatings that still provide the right protection with fewer layers, products with a longer lifespan and products that contain less or no solvent such as high solids and water-based products. Scanning existing formulations for replacement of harmful raw materials with high-quality sustainable alternatives is also an important focus.

The modern factory in Almere complies with all applicable environmental regulations and the production processes are regularly optimized to reduce solvent emissions and the generation of residual materials. A modern in-plant color mixing system makes it possible to color large and small quantities of paint quickly, extremely flexibly and without residual waste.

Our delivery program consists of many products in which harmful substances such as lead-based pigments and solvents have been replaced or reduced to a minimum. Since 2001, BICCS has delivered a complete program of water-based paints which belong to the absolute top in terms of quality and pigment selection.
